Barack Obama

His name is Barack Hussein Obama II. He is 52 years old. He was born on  the 4Th of August 1961.

He is from the USA so he is American. He is the USA president and he came into power on the 20Th of January 2009.

He likes playing scrabble, playing basketball and he loves Harry Potter´s films.

Barack Obama is the first  black president of the USA. He lives in the White House, Washington DC with his family. Before he became president he lived in Chicago.

His father was from Kenya. His mother was from Hawaii in the USA. Barack grew up in Hawaii and the Philippines. He studied law and worked as  a lawyer, before he became interested in politics.

Barack Obama is married to Michelle Obama. They have two girls. Malia and Sasha.

He hates ice-cream-perhaps because he worked in an ice-cream parlour when he was young.
