Walt Disney was born in 1901 in Chicago. He grew up on a farm. 

Walt loved cartoons. At the age of 20, he opened a studio in Hollywood. In 1937 Disney made his first  the seven animated film,Snow White and the seven  Dwarfs. In the 1950s,television arrived to American homes.He started to present a cartoon TV programe called Disneyland : it was the perfect way to promote his characters. In 1955 he created Disneyland park, in California. Today, there are eleves Disneylans parks;for example in USA ,France,Japan and Hong kong.
